There are certain definite signs to watch out for in people which include persistent and uncontrollable worry, anxiety, physical tension and a difficulty in concentrating.
The symptoms for panic disorders may include chest pain, sweating, discomfort trembling fear of dying or going mad.
Although the duration of some of these symptoms may only be a few minutes, repeated attacks may lead to serious acts if not controlled as soon as possible.
A feeling of depression is usually the result and should therefore not be taken lightly.
Any or all of these manifestations are symptomatic of anxiety and panic disorders.
Whenever one or two of these signs are present, a person should see a doctor.
What treatment is available for general anxiety disorders (GAD)?
First of all any treatment is aimed at reducing the chronic anxiety . Treatment would consist of psychological and/or medical treatment eg. routine exercise, prescribed medicine or cognitive therapy.
Anti-depressants and other inhibitors, appears to be the most favourable treatment.;
But—there are also more natural, preventative methods to implement to help people with anxiety and panic disorders• Get family members to support each other. • Be positive-remember only 2% of your worries will realize. • Maintain a healthy diet and exercise regularly in open air-especially people suffering from claustrophobia • Don’t do anything on the spur of the moment. Plan things properly ahead then it might not be necessary to panic for time. • Be involved in community work as this will take your mind off your “so-called” worries. • Do not listen to negative conversations on the economy, the future, or other facets of life.
